As human beings, we have bodies and brains, but also a less tangible dimension of our existence that we call the mind . Together, these enable us to experience the world, remember and forget, learn, imagine, plan, reflect, and communicate our ideas. But how do these capacities arise? Understanding how minds and brains work is a question that spans many fields of inquiry. This lecture series, organized by Heidelberg University's Cognitive Science Network, brings together diverse perspectives on human and non-human cognition and explores the potential of interdisciplinary dialogue.
